The Jimenez family is a seemingly happy and close-knit sitcom family. However, the family's tranquility is disturbed when the daughter bravely reveals a dark truth to her parents.

Martinez, an embittered Chilean in his sixties who has lived in Mexico for the past 40 years and is being forced to retire from his job.
